Total Dimensions are approx 40" high x 80 1/2" long x 43" deep - space between floor and bottom rail is 11 1/2". Requires a standard twin mattress (39" x 74"). Easy assembly, fast shipping and great price. The actual bed is solid and the material seems of good quality.

eyez wide open
Just set this up a couple of weeks ago. So far so good. Very solid hardwood bed with a beautiful finish. Quiet and stable. Looks great and doesn't take up much space. I put it together without a helper. I happened to have a couple of sturdy boxes that are about 11" tall when turned on their sides, so I used them like "jackstands" as I was doing the assembly. Attaching the slats is the most tedious part. I was tempted to use a power driver but the work is very close to the finished wood so I did them by hand. I was able to find a 10" 74 x 38 x 10 inch memory foam mattress on Amazon that fits this bed perfectly. Also, the clearance under the bed is nice for storing winter quilts and stuff. Overall, I'm happy I bought this. Seriously considered some of the unfinished ones, but I've never been any good with stains and varnishes.

We searched at multiple sources for a new bed for our son (furniture stores, Ikea, etc.) and decided to purchase this bed. We are pleased with the bed overall and it was relatively easy to assemble. For the price, I feel that we got a good quality bed and our son is very happy.
