This elegant Aztec Table Lamp has been handcrafted using methods first developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany.Shade contains pieces of stained glass, each hand-cut and wrapped in fine copper foil highlighted by an Aztec motif in hues of green, amber, and white. Cast metal zinc base with an elegant bronzetone finish. Lamp measures 61 inches tall x 16 inches in diameter at shade.

When this lamp arrived, the shade was broken in the corner. Although we thought this indicated the shade was made of glass, it still seemed to feel very much like cheap plastic. The lead piping around the stained glass also seemed to be made of something definitely not metallic, either plastic or rubber. The base was very heavy and seemed to be quality, but the shade looked cheap. We actually didn't mind that it arrived broken, because it made it easier to send it back and get the refund, instead of having to hem and haw about if we wanted to keep a lamp with a cheap shade that cost over $100. It was very easy and convenient to return, and I was refunded the entire price, including shipping (there was no charge for return shipping).
On a side note, the lamp was packaged in a thin cardboard box with Styrofoam inserts. There didn't seem to be much padding, considering the breakable lampshade inside, and the Styrofoam was the kind that disintegrated into a million minuscule white balls that clung to everything with static. It took a few different times sweeping and vacuuming to get them all up, and even then I'd find a stray white ball here and there. We don't have pets, but if you do, you might want to be careful about how you open the package because the Styrofoam gets everywhere.
